Solutions

Hacking Unconscious Bias 

We blend neuroscience with our Openness Matrix, innovation thinking, psychological safety and mindfulness hacking. Partcipants will understand the science behind bias and automatic behaviour. They will learn the relationship between how perspective (what we were born with, dealt and sought) and proximity (Education, Exposure and Experience) influences openness. This workshop helps bring a more nuanced look at bias and how this impacts inclusion and diversity. The session also includes facets of innovation thinking and a session on mindfulness hacking- how to recognise judgement and the space between the trigger and behaviour. 

Team-awareness

 Our Lumina Team Spark workshop helps build team-awareness. This package is also offered as an integration of team coaching. Our Firesticking programme includes team coaching + individual coaching as a Systemic Awareness offer.   

The Innovators Method

Understand the social, functional and emotional needs of your clients through personas. Test, experiment and work towards an MVP (Minimum Viable Product). For product teams, branding or for anyone who has an idea and wants to take the approach to iterate, gather feedback and pivot. The speed of learning is the measure of success. If you're not a bit embarassed about your MVP, you've spent too long on it! This offer designed as a workshop can be integrated into individual or team coaching.

Strategy

Our Clean Slate Strategy Workshop begins where you need to- right at the start with the probelm to be solved, your why , the vision, and a strawman of how to get there. Our Clean Up Strategy Workshop is for clients who have started something and need help. Perhaps you have great ideas and initiatives, but they don't solve your client's biggest problems. You might have underestimated how integral the ties are between the people and process. Often the supporting change requirements have not been understood from the outset. Very often, the vision and the goal doesn't actually capture what you are really going after and need to be recreated. Most likely, you're trying to do too much and need help thinking about what matters most! You get the blend of facilitation and transformation experience in our Clean Up Strategy Workshop.

Groups and teams have different needs. Our group solutions are for people who interact together whether it be for work or another need. What makes groups different to a team is the reason for being there. Rather than being tied to a longer term specific purpose which drives your interactions like a team, groups have a different nature. All teams are groups, but not all groups are teams? Why is this important? It impacts who the work is for and how we contract with you. Your needs might be a one day session, some training, or conference. Familiar with psychometrics? Most people have had exposure to testing or the idea at some point. What many don't realise is that commonly used and credible psychometric testing can encourages a static understanding of yourself. You can hear people refer to themselves as a type. Workshops 

Inspiring experiential learning
Executive meetings, away days, team development and strategic planning sessions. We offer facilitators to help you think better. There is usually a very good reason for having a specific session that needs facilitating, but what usually happens? The leader tries to do two roles and stops listening. Alternatively, someone in the team who is reasonably good at it takes the role and you miss their great input. Worse, someone in the team thinks they are amazing at facilitating and the takes over the whole session, frustrating the group or they can't be impartial and steer the team to an outcome. What is the best case if you don't bring in an external facilitator, who can hear what is being said and well as what is unsaid? Best case, there might be someone outside the team who can join (but they need to play catch up on their day job) or there might be a consultant more accustomed to advising in the business who can step in. The thing is, facilitation is an art. It's not the person who has hold of the marker, who can take notes or doing the tech on the zoom! It is knowing what you're after, creating a session that helps you get there, reading the room, changing mid-flow, holding you to account and bringing your great thinking to life. Her mentoring and Think Fusion solutions are born out of people seeking Heather out specifically to hear her unique take on things. She has in her personal and professional life always been known for her way of looking at things, sparking new ideas and perspectives.
